Position overview:
As a Purchasing Manager, you will be one of our key leaders in ensuring our clients get the parts and materials they need! Every dollar counts, which means you will negotiate pricing on materials with our suppliers to get the best bang for our buck. There is nothing that our Purchasing Managers can’t handle! Apply today!
A typical day in the life of a Purchasing Manager:
Manage and own maintenance, repairs and operations (MRO) purchasing, from requisition creation to receipt for specific clients.
Handle transaction negotiations directly with clients, offering top-notch customer service all while within timeline of preferred supplier strategy.
Develop and drive countermeasures for underperforming key processes and/or material suppliers.
Maintain transaction service metrics in an inbound call center environment.
Review and handle all invoice exceptions associated with purchasing and the expediting of open orders.
Act as a liaison between clients, suppliers, and other involved departments to resolve purchasing-related issues and offer resolutions.
Proactively communicate with suppliers when delivery dates are approaching and with field team relative to tracking orders, shipments, troubleshooting, and responding to all other questions.
Potential travel to other customer sites may be required for training, meetings, or any other team support.
The skills you’ll contribute to our diverse team:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience (MRO or indirect purchasing).
Able to collaborate in a client-driven environment as this role will be highly customer service driven.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, and ERP software.

The pay range for the role will not exceed $65,000.00 per year. Individual pay depends on various factors, such as role level, relevant experience and skills, and location. Pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the pay range applicable at the time.
